Copper Penny Coaching is a coaching and consulting practice focused on helping individuals and organizations build sustainable ways of working. My work sits at the intersection of leadership development, emotional awareness, recovery-informed practices, and real-world business strategy.  Translation: we work on the people stuff that directly impacts performance, culture, and long-term success.

I work with:  • Individuals navigating career transitions, burnout, leadership growth, or recovery  • Leaders who want to show up better for their teams  • Organizations in high-stress industries (construction, operations, corporate environments)  • Teams navigating change, growth, or cultural challenges  You don’t need to fit into a neat box. Most people don’t.

Nope. Coaching and consulting are forward-focused and action-oriented. We’re not diagnosing or treating mental health conditions. If therapy is part of your support system, great—I fully support that and often work alongside it.  Think: therapy helps you heal the past; coaching helps you build the future.

No, and I’m very upfront about that.  I am a coach, consultant, and facilitator with deep experience in:  • leadership development  • organizational culture  • change management  • coaching individuals and teams  • recovery-aware approach grounded in lived experience  I do not diagnose, treat, or provide clinical mental health services. My approach is shaped by lived experience, professional practice, and continued learning.

Different tools for different needs.  People work with me when they want:  • clarity and accountability  • practical frameworks they can easily apply  • support navigating work, leadership, and life decisions  • a thought partner who understands both human behavior and business realities  If at any point therapy or clinical support would be more appropriate, I’ll say so and help you think through next steps.
