When Your Team Can't
Hold Together Under Pressure

Where Teams Usually Start

Most teams that end up here didn't set out looking for a workshop. Something specific is going on, and a generic offsite won't touch it. Three facilitated team workshops, each built around a different reason a team stops working well together or can't seem to align quickly enough. I've spent 20+ years in construction, on jobsites and in corporate offices, and these are the three problems I get called for most. Have a look and see which one sounds like your team right now.

For tension, nobody's naming conversations that keep almost happening and then don't.

Trust to Traction (1).png

For a team scaling faster than its systems can keep up, needing to work well together before the next deadline, not eventually.

The Team Read.png

The Team Read©

For a team that's worked together for years and still can't read how each person handles pressure.

All three stack, and The Team Read© is usually the foundation: knowing how you operate, how everyone else does, and where the differences are worth appreciating. A leadership shuffle or a team that just formed often runs The Team Read© into Trust to Traction© and adds Say the Thing© once the team has to hold a hard conversation without me in the room.

Still not sure which one describes your situation? That's what the first conversation is for.

How Each Program Is Built

Each program has its own structure and its own materials, built around the reason it exists in the first place. Programs stand alone or run in sequence over a year, depending on what the team needs. All of them are interactive. I facilitate, and the team does the work in the room.

No two sessions run the same. Each team walks in for a different reason, and the starting point is always a real conversation about what's going on, not a fixed agenda pulled off a shelf.

Why This Works

20+ Years Inside Construction

Two decades on jobsites and in corporate offices, watching what holds under pressure and what quietly falls apart by spring.

Recovery-Informed Capability

High-pressure industries reward over-functioning and staying quiet. These sessions build accountability and the regulation it takes to hold steady under pressure, That comes from recovery work, where the whole skill is noticing what you're doing before it costs you something. Most consultants don't carry that lens.

No Consultant Dependency

The goal is a team that keeps working this way after the session ends, not a team that needs the next session to remember how.

The Three Programs

Each program stands on its own, and they build on each other. The Team Read© is the foundation: how each person makes decisions, what motivates them, and where the differences are worth appreciating instead of working around.

Trust to Traction© then sets the shared goal and the agreements. Say the Thing© keeps both usable when something goes sideways. Most teams start where the pain is, and when there's room to plan it out, beginning with The Team Read© makes everything after it go faster.

A turnover problem or a culture shift already underway usually starts as a scoped consulting conversation so the sequence gets built deliberately.

Trust to Traction©

For a group of people who need to become a team, fast. We build the shared goal, sort out who owns what, and accelerate trust on purpose instead of waiting for it to show up on its own. The team leaves with a path forward and an agreement on how they'll work together.

Best for: A newly formed or newly merged team, or a team scaling faster than its systems can keep up and needing to work well together before the next deadline.

Say the Thing©

For the conversation everyone keeps meaning to have and doesn't. Names the pattern underneath the avoidance, then hands the team real tools and frameworks for planning and steering a hard conversation. Having it becomes repeatable instead of accidental.

Best for: Tension nobody's naming, conversations that keep almost happening and then don't.

The Team Read©

For a team that knows each other on paper and has no idea how each person operates under stress. Surfaces how each person makes decisions, what motivates them, how they show up in conflict, and what they look like at their best. Everyone leaves with shared language for it, and stops guessing.

Best for: A team that's worked together for years and still can't read how each person handles pressure.

What Changes After
the Workshop

A team that had the same disagreement three times last quarter stops having it a fourth time, because there's finally a way to name what's happening instead of routing around it.

Decisions that used to get made twice get made once.

The person who used to go quiet in a hard meeting says the thing instead, and the room can handle it.

The team doesn't need to remember a framework to keep working this way. They already did the work once, together, in the room, and it held.

Let's Figure Out What Your Team Truly Needs

Three programs, one starting point. A short conversation about what's going on is enough to know which one fits, or whether something else entirely is the better call.

No sales pressure. No obligation. Just a straightforward conversation about what's possible.
